Dukbokki- Korean spicy rice cakes

Ihr wisst ja wie sehr ich Kpop, Kdramen, deren Kultur und Essen liebe. Jedes mal wenn ich mir einen Drama ansehe und die Schauspieler etwas essen bekomme ich immer einen mega Hunger. Es gibt so viel leckeres Essen, dass ich mal probieren will. Eines der meistbeliebtesten Gerichte, welches in keinem Drama fehlt, ist "Dukbokki". Das ist eine Art scharfter "Reiskuchen". Die meisten Koreaner verkaufen es auf den Straßen von Märkten oder in Restaurants. Meiner Meinung nach schmeckt es wirklich sehr gut. Das perfekte Essen für Leute die gern scharf essen. Aber die Schärfe ist ja abhängig davon wie viel Chili man benutzt. Probiert es am Besten selbst aus, und wenn es euch nicht schmeckt dann braucht ihr es nie wieder machen xD Viel Spaß und gutes Gelingen ^^

You know that I´m really obsessed with Kpop, Korean dramas and also with the food. Everytime when I watch dramas and the actors eat something I really get hungry. There are so much food I want to eat because it looks so delicious. So I cooked one of the most famous food of Korea called "dukbokki". These are Korean spicy rice cakes. Most people sell them on the market or in restaurants. It was really delicious and it`s perfect for people who love spicy food. But it depends on how much chili you use. So give it a try and have fun ;)

Recipe:

Ingredients:

• rice cakes (500g for 4-5 serves)
• 2 carrots
• 1 spring onion
• ½ onion
• beef
• mushrooms

Sauce

• 3 Tbs chilli paste
• 3 Tbs sugar
• 2 Tbs soy sauce
• 2 Tbs sesame oil
• pinch of salt

 1.Step
 - soak the frozen rice cakes in water (for about 10min)
2. Step
 - fry the onion with some oil + fry the beef
 - put the carrots in it and after frying it a little bit - add the mushrooms
3. Step
 - put the rice cakes in it and a little bit water
4. Step
 - add the sauce and mix it well + some water
5. Step 
 - boil them (over medium heat) till the sauce gets a little bit thick
6. Step
 - add the spring onion - boil it for another 3min

 *Serving: put some sesam seeds on the top and tadaaah :)

At first I want to apologize that it takes such a long time... It´s not that I don`t want to write posts anymore. I just don´t have any time left to post. At this time I`m really stressed out. I have to find a nice apartment in Berlin because I got accepted at the university there (yeah! ^^). And I also try to get my driver`s license before I`m moving to Berlin, yes... I really mean TRY. I didn`t thought that driving around could be that difficult. And this is just a part of the stress I`m faced with. So I hope you will understand it. As from today there will be a little change in this blog because now I`m going to write in two languages -German and English. Please looking forward to it ;)
And I´m also trying to post a looooooot more.

Ahhh.... Es tut mir sooo Leid, dass es so lang gedauert bis ich endlich mal wieder etwas poste. Ja ich hatte viel Zeit gehabt bisher, aber es ist wirklich nicht so, dass ich keine Lust mehr hätte zu bloggen oder so, aber zur Zeit steht mir echt alles bis zum Kopf... Ja Kopf und nicht Hals xD Vergebt mir bitte...
Alle die ihr Abi jetzt in der Hand haben und studieren oder eine Ausbildung anfangen, werden den Stress den ich im Moment habe sehr gut kennen. Nachdem ich an der bbw Hochschule in Berlin angenommen wurde (juhuuuu ^^ ), geht bei mir nur noch alles drunter und drüber -Wohnungssuche, Führerschein, BAföG-Antrag und diverser andere Zettelkram. Aber naja... Ich werde trotzdem ab heute versuchen wieder regelmäßig zu bloggen. Und ab jetz auch auf beiden Sprachen.

Sneak peek - prom

Saturday we celebrated our prom and also my 18th birthday. I`m feeling really old right now but a new part of my life has begun - new friends, new city, new experiences, ... .
I also think I`ll get more freedom from my parents because most of asian parents are really strict. Whatever... Sneak peek for today:

Fascinating nature

It`s such a long time ago that I went inline skating. Last time I was inline skating with my sister and we took some photos. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed the nature. It´s really fascinated and refreshing. Now I have to spend a lot of time with my family because I will move out to study this year. Today we got our marks for the A-level exams. They aren`t that good as I expected but I think that I can live with them... I have to. ^_^
Monday I`ll have visitors from Munich. They went all the way up there to celebrate my sweet 18 and my "Abiball".

 Liebstes Cindy,
hiermit möchte ich mich dafür bedanken, dass ich eine so tolle Freundin wie dich kennenlernen durfte. Die letzten Jahre die ich mit dir verbracht habe, waren einfach zauberhaft. Wir hatten Spaß, stritten uns weil wir uns gern haben, gingen zsm arbeiten, haben Sport so genossen wie wir es wollten und haben den Geschichtsunterricht lebend(!) überstanden. Ich bin so monster-froh das es dich gibt. Bald werden wir zwar weit enfernt voneinander unser eigenes Leben leben, aber nichtsdestotrotz wirst du mein Lieblingsblondi, Fleischklumpen, Agnes, Mimose,... und vorallem eine sehr gute Freundin bleiben. Ich hoffe wir werden uns so oft wie möglich sehn und ärgern was das Zeug hält.
Ich bin so froh das es dich gibt... Deswegen reicht mir ein einfaches "Happy Birthday" oder "Alles Liebe" nicht aus. Ich könnte noch so viel schreiben, aber du weißt eh das ich dich immer lieb haben werde.♥

Chocolate Fondue

I ♥ Strawberries

A perfect combination of food? Of course it`s chocolate with fruits. Yesterday my sister and I made a chocolate fondue. It`s been a long since I made some. So we melted a bar of chocolate from "Milka" and a bar of nougat (because we just had them at home). While it`s melting we cut fruits like apples, strawberries and bananas. Tadaaaah the fondue was finished. So easy and so delicious! After a stressfull English exam I really deserved this. But Wednesday I´m going to write my math exam... I´m really afraid of it... But if I survive this and my oral exam I`m the happiest person in the world.

It`s been a long since my last post right?! I promised to upload the pictures of the motto-week but I`m so sorry that I wasn`t able to do it. In the last time I was really busy and I´m still. I have to learn, to exercise and focus on my exams. Fortunately I survived my German exam but it wasn`t that good. I hope I will manage my English exam on Friday better and of course math too. After those written exams I also have an oral exam in psychology. Enough of this cruel things and back to one of the best time of my school life - the motto-week. It was really funny. The costumes were really creative and super funny. I liked the motto "fairytale" best. No more words... I`m revealing some photos now :)

"Motto-week"

There are just few school days left. This is my/our last school week and I/we have to enjoy it. It´s not just our last week in school it`s a really special week because it`s our "motto-week". Every day there is another motto where we have to dress ourself up. Todays motto was "Jobs". I will give you a little sneak peak everyday and at the weekend I´m searching for some interesting and funny pictures.

Mystery and Glamour Nails

Today I`m going to present you my first nail tutorial. Because of the colors I`ve used it looks really mysterious and also glamorous. I used a dark blue nail polish from Manhattan (710T) and a purple sparkling nail polish from Essence (nail art twins glitter topper 2). You can buy them in almost every drugstore. I like this nail design because it`s a really easy one and you also don`t need a lot of time for it. I also think it`s kind of special because it doesn`t look that boring as if you just apply one color on your nails. ^^

Frozen Yogurt

At the weekend I was in Berlin again. My friend and I slacked through the "Spandauer Arcaden". But because of a slight cold I wasn`t in the mood to go shopping too long. I also don`t found anything to buy but I ate frozen yogurt for the first time. It was really yummy. The taste of the yogurt itself reminds me a little bit of the typical yogurt I ate in Vietnam. It`s nothing bad because I really like it. My frozen yogurt was with chocolat sauce and Oreo cookies and compared to me she had hers with strawberries and different cereals. I think it`s better than normal ice cream and maybe also healthier. I just can recommend it.

Spring is coming soon.

Yesterday I found the first snowdrops. In the last few days the weather was awesome. The sun was shining and it´s getting warmer. I`m happy that I don`t have to go to school when it`s dark outside. I hope you guys enjoy the great weather too.
By the way Miss A made their comeback with Touch this week. At first I really have to get use to the song. But when I`ve seen the stage performance I began to love it. The girls, the song, the outfits, the choreography - just plain amazing. What do you think?

Sushifreak²

Yesterday I made sushi! My parents never ate it before and last time when I made some they weren`t at home. So I made some for them and we joined it while watching a film. I think it looks much better and it also was more delicious. And now I can roll it faster than before. If you want to know how you have to do it you can check out my post about sushi. I just can recommend everyone to try eating it. It`s not everyones taste but I really love it.

Shopping with mommy.♥

I had a great day with my lovely mom on monday. I love it to go out with her. We drank coffee, ate chips and went shopping. She is like my best friend. We can talk about everything, we always have a lot of fun and we also have a similar style. But unfortunately she hasn`t a lot of time because she always works. But monday was a nice day. I hope we can manage to have a lot of days like this again. I`m happy to have such a good relation to her.

 Sometimes just little things can make you happy... a hug, a bar of chocolate or just a smile. I hope you had a great Valentine`s-Day with your family, good friends or boy- or girlfriend. I got a really cute cupcake from Cindy. It was pink with little hearts on it. So cute and so yummy.♥

Currently I`m too overworked. School is only stress because I have to write my exams soon. Every day I have to write a test and sometimes also two tests. My head is filled with too much information. I think I have to go shopping to get a free head. A shopping day with a friend can help a lot.

But today just a piece of cake was really helpful ^^
